Yeah, thanks for that too. I’m glad you appreciate the behind-the-dash work. I love taking care of all of you, and I’m not leaving it even if I am busy. I love you all.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me as Favorite Contributor and Bastion for Roleplaying: Long Form, as well as in the other categories I was nominated! I love you guys and girls!

Also thanks for those who nominated or voted for Erika&Walker for favorite friendship and got it as runner-up to the one that really deserved it, Axel&Renji. 

Congrats to everyone who won or got nominated! To those that didn’t get nominated for anything, there’s always a next time, and it mostly came down to being either really new or inactive for a long time, but I’m sure you are deserving of an award. All of you are! Thanks to all of you who participated! I hope on the next activity we get some more participation. Have fun roleplaying everyone!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures in your lives. It’s a bit late though, hehe.

Well, everyone, I have news. I’m finishing my semester much later than expected when I thought I’d be free by the masterlist anniversary, meaning I won’t be able to manage a good event as I was planning for the date. I will still overlook things here, but you won’t see me rping as often since I’m busy with homework/projects/studying. I’ll return fully once I finish, hopefully. Sorry to those currently roleplaying with my characters or wanting to, but responses will be slow.  I’m still up for taking any rp ideas you want to do with me, as well as any events you may have in mind.

Yuuko’s face lit up when Bastion agreed to teach her, and not only that, but he was going to introduce her at his club as well! Oh, how she loved to make new friends. She was starting to feel so good at this new School, she had never thought she could be able to adapt without Teiichi-kun around. “Well, I think I wouldn’t believe such thing if I wasn’t a ghost…” she started, trying to think as a normal human being. Truth is, she knew most of the people didn’t believe in such things as parallel dimensions, monsters, ghosts and paranormal creatures, but here she was a living proof that they existed. “You were sent there?” she asked now, her face filled with curiosity. “How was it? Can you take me there?” The ghost continued, excited at the idea of knowing another dimension, though she knew it would be hard to convince Bastion that he take her there, and not knowing if he could or couldn’t go there by himself. A mischievous smile appeared on her face when she saw Misawa blushing, and with a teasing tone, she said, “Hmmm… who is this Tanya, Sensei? Is someone you like? Are you in loooove~?”

“Well… I’m practically human” Yuuko started, trying to explain her situation to the teacher. “People that can see me, can hear me and touch me as well, while the people that can’t see me won’t notice my presence at all. And sometimes people see what they want to see. If they are open to the paranormal but they are afraid of me, they will see me in a… scarier way. The only thing I lost when I died was my memory. I don’t know why, though, but I can’t remember how I died, nor why I died, nor my past life as a human… anything”

Bastion liked that she acquired a happy expression from hearing about the Dueling club. He also liked the scepticism she said she would have, had she not gone through the paranormal experience of becoming a ghost.

On the topic of being sent into another dimension, he responded to her question: “It was the result of an accident. I was in Professor Eisenstein’s lab observating a quantum mechanics experiment when I suddenly got pulled in by an instant portal into another dimension. I wandered off a desert land inhabited by all sorts of Duel Monsters for an indeterminate amount of time that could have been weeks or months, until I stumbled upon my old school friends who were also stranded there. It took an massive effort involving certain Duel Monsters to be able to return them to the real world. I stayed there for a few months…”

“I am sorry Miss Kanoe, but I believe I cannot replicate the conditions to send you into one of the other dimensions. As I already told you, it was an experimental accident. It was a dangerous place with some pleasant aspects… and eh, she is an Amazon warrior…,” he stuttered without describing her, to not give off any more impressions. “I prefer not to discuss about that subject.” It was not that Bastion would feel uncomfortable discussing about Tanya, but remembering her would make him feel heartsick and nostalgic, not something he would like to be seen by everyone else in the cafeteria.

He was glad to see Yuuko continue with the other topic. “That is a very interesting and peculiar position you are in. Eh, forgive me for my impudence if talking about it makes you feel uncomfortable, but I am just curious because I have never seen or heard of anyone in your current state. You mention you forgot about the time you died, so could it be possible you never did and you were turned into this ‘ghost’-like state by someone?” He was wondering if some mad scientist turned her into a ghost.

Sweet Calculations

“Oh…” Yuuko started, interested at this cards that Bastion was talking about. “Can you teach me how to play it, Sensei?”

“But… I don’t really understand that based on spirits of another dimension thing” the ghost continued, wondering what had he meant by that. She had never listened the concept of ‘another dimension spirits’ and as far as she knew, such things didn’t exist. But humans thought that ghosts didn’t exist and here she was, so why wouldn’t those monsters that Bastion was talking about exist as well?

Yuuko frowned under Misawa’s gaze after his statement. How many times had she wished for all of this to be a lie? She had been so lonely for so many years, trying to cope with everyone ignoring her and it had been so painful… why would she lie about something like that? “I am not lying, Misawa-sensei. I have no reason to” she stated, and after a moment of thought, she extended her hand as well, reaching for Bastion’s. She knew she could touch other people, she had proven it with Teiichi and Kirie, who could touch her as well. With a split second of hesitation, the ghost took Bastion’s hand in hers and gave it a little squeeze, offering him a warm smile.

“Even though I am a ghost, I can still touch and be touched by other people”

Bastion’s expression brightened and a smile formed on his face as he heard Yuuko mention she wanted to learn how to play his favorite game.

“Yes, of course. I forgot to mention I supervise the Dueling Club at the school. You may come by any time after class and my students and I will try to teach you the basics of the game.”

“As for the spirit dimension, that is a rather complex topic of which not everybody would believe at first mention of. You say you are a ghost, and I will believe your hypothesis until I can find my own conclusions,” he assured her. “Thus if you really believe in paranormal phenomena such as apparitions then you might have wondered where all the amazing and sometimes terrifying creatures that have been recorded have come from. The answer to the origins of most of these fantastic creatures is the existence of these alternate dimensions where I, along with some old colleagues from high school, was sent to by accident, although I prefer to believe it as it was to serve the purpose of finding a way to get them back to the real world and then reuniting with Tanya…” His face became dreamy as he mentioned her name, and then a few seconds later, he snapped out of it.

“Ahem,” he said blushing.  ”I am surprised I did not feel much difference while shaking your hand when compared to that of a regular human being. It appears to be that you keep various human qualities in this apparition state. You kept your sense of taste too, as I presume from you feeling the heat in my cup of chocolate. I wonder, what is different now for you? You mentioned something of not everyone being able to see you earlier.”
